Which wax do I need for which temperature?

How do I apply the wax correctly?

How often do I need to rewax?

Do I need special tools to wax?
No. A wax iron (or an old iron without steam holes), a scraper, and a brush are enough. Step by step: How to Wax Correctly.
What does “100% plant-based” mean?
Our waxes are based entirely on plant-based raw materials of European origin instead of fossil petroleum paraffin. Why that's not just better for the environment, but also faster and longer-lasting, read here: Why plant-based.
What is PFAS — and how are you PFAS-free?
PFAS are per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (“forever chemicals”) that don't break down in the environment and are increasingly regulated in winter sports. WhiteRoot is completely PFAS- and fluorine-free — our performance comes from plant-based chemistry, not fluorine. More on this: Why plant-based.
Does the wax smell or smoke when ironing?
WhiteRoot is low-odor. At the right ironing temperature, it doesn't produce the sharp fumes some paraffin waxes do. Even so, always work in a well-ventilated space and don't exceed the recommended temperature.
Does the wax work for skis AND snowboards?
Yes. All Elements waxes work equally well on ski and snowboard bases.
